Google Calendar Toolkit
Arcade's Google Calendar toolkit connects LLMs to Google Calendar via OAuth, enabling agents to read, create, modify, and coordinate calendar data on behalf of authenticated users.
Capabilities
- Calendar discovery & identity: List all accessible calendars and retrieve the authenticated user's profile, email, permissions, and Google account details.
- Event querying: Fetch events within precise datetime windows using exclusive start/end bounds to filter exactly the right range.
- Event creation: Create one-off or recurring events (via
recurrence) with full meeting details in any accessible calendar. - Event modification & deletion: Update individual fields of existing events (start, end, title, guests, etc.) or remove events entirely; edits respect organizer/guest-edit permissions.
- RSVP management: Accept or decline meeting invitations, setting the user's
responseStatuson their behalf. - Availability analysis: Find overlapping free time slots for multiple attendees within a specified date range and time boundaries.

For example:

is set to 2024-09-16T17:00:00, the function will return events that:
1. End after 09:00 on September 15, 2024 (exclusive)
2. Start before 17:00 on September 16, 2024 (exclusive)
This means an event starting at 08:00 on September 15 and
ending at 10:00 on September 15 would be included, but an
event starting at 17:00 on September 16 would not be included. | |||
