Arcade.dev LLM tools for Microsoft Graph user profiles and organizational hierarchy
4tools
The Microsoft Users toolkit connects Arcade to the Microsoft Graph API, enabling LLMs to read user profiles and navigate organizational hierarchies within Microsoft 365 tenants.
Capabilities
- Profile lookup — Resolve one or more users by email address, UPN, or user ID; batch-optimized Graph API calls enrich attendees or participants with job title, department, and org data.
- Org hierarchy traversal — Retrieve a user's direct reports (paginated, including org contacts) or walk upward to their direct manager; handles edge cases like top-level executives with no manager.
- Current-user identity — Fetch the authenticated user's own profile including name, email, job title, department, office location, and tenant domain.
- Microsoft 365 only — All tools require a work or school account; personal accounts (outlook.com, hotmail.com, live.com) are not supported.
OAuth
Authentication uses OAuth 2.0 via the Microsoft provider. See the Arcade Microsoft auth provider docs for configuration details, required scopes, and setup steps.
