Arcade tools designed for LLMs to interact with Salesforce
Arcade's Salesforce toolkit lets LLMs interact with a Salesforce org to read, create, and update CRM records — covering the full lead-to-close pipeline and activity logging.
Capabilities
- Identity & context — Retrieve the authenticated user's profile and org details to establish session context before other operations.
- Lead management — Create, search, update, and convert leads; conversion creates linked Contact, Account, and Opportunity records and respects already-converted state.
- Contact & account lookup — Search contacts by keyword, account, or title; retrieve accounts with up to 10 related records each across contacts, leads, notes, calls, opportunities, tasks, emails, and events.
- Opportunity (deal) lifecycle — Create, search, filter, retrieve enriched detail (contact roles, line items, notes), and update opportunities; picklist values (stage, lead source, type) are validated against org configuration.
- Activity tracking — Log completed calls, create future tasks or reminders, list your open/overdue tasks, and update or complete existing tasks.
OAuth
This toolkit uses OAuth 2.0 with Salesforce as the identity provider. See the Salesforce auth provider docs for setup instructions.
Secrets
SALESFORCE_ORG_SUBDOMAIN — The subdomain of your Salesforce org, used to construct API endpoint URLs (e.g., mycompany for mycompany.my.salesforce.com). Find this in your Salesforce org under Setup → Company Settings → My Domain, or read it from the URL when logged in. Required if your org uses a custom domain instead of the default instance URL.
SALESFORCE_MAX_CONCURRENT_REQUESTS — An integer cap on the number of simultaneous API requests the toolkit will issue against your Salesforce org. Set this to stay within your org's API request limits, which vary by edition and license type. Choose a value based on your org's concurrent API limit shown under Setup → System Overview.
See the Arcade secrets guide for instructions on configuring secrets, or manage them directly at https://api.arcade.dev/dashboard/auth/secrets.
